More and more people are thinking of novel and meaningful ways of greeting people with gifts for the Diwali season.

Many people however stick on to the sweets packets. The only persons who seem to benefit by this standard approach are the commercial sweet meat makers.

It was a welcome tradition when the sweets were all home made and shared; not any longer. Today it is a waste or worse.

This season is over. At least for the next season, can we think of something that is relevant to today's circumstances?

Whenever people get together, they may use it as an opportunity to educate each other.

They can take turns to address the theme: This Works for me.

That way we give every one an opportunity to learn from each other.

This we do unconsciously and occasionally. What I suggest is that we do it consciously.

We have quite a bit to learn from each other and each day.
